Collectively they work with ASES to achieve the broader vision of stronger solar and renewable energy communities while being responsive to local and regional challenges and opportunities.

John and Barbara Yellott Award » Donate Online

The John & Barbara Yellott Award of $500 is given to a graduate student concentrating on solar energy in a recognized institution of higher learning. John I. Yellott was instrumental in guiding the activities of the predecessor organization of ASES – the Association for Applied Solar Energy – in its early years during the 1950s. He was a recognized researcher in the solar energy field, a user of solar energy in his own home, and an entrepreneur participating in the growth of the solar industry.

Barrio Eléctrico » Donate Online

Barrio Eléctrico is a nonprofit corporation, based in Puerto Rico, created to offer families equitable access to solar systems, including energy storage, that generate clean and resilient electricity. ASES is the 501(c)(3) Fiscal Sponsor for Barrio Electrico.
